Mithunn, 37, started Zcodia Technologies, a prominent information technology company, eight years ago and currently serves as the managing director. He also owns Avenster, an apparel company that manufactures t-shirts and shorts for commercial clients.

“I am so passionate about what I do,” he said. “I understand managing everything is not an easy task. I’ve sacrificed sleep, weekends and fun times. It may sound like a joke, but sometimes I eat and bathe while thinking about the work that I do.”

Zcodia Technologies provides web, mobile development, machine learning, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology services. Mithunn’s day usually starts at 5:30 a.m. with meditation followed by a workout at the gym. He plans his workday while at home, and then heads to the office at 9 a.m. where he’ll stay until about 7 or 8 p.m. Once at home, he’ll continue working until about 11:30 p.m.

At the beginning of his career, he slept little in order to devote time to his business and simultaneously make movies. Mithunn took acting classes for seven years, and then in 2015 he got his big break when he was cast as the lead role of Southern India’s hero action thriller movie, Patra.

“One day, I received a call from my movie director, and he told me he wanted me to come to his office for an audition,” he said. “I prepared myself and went to his office. His team saw me and selected me for the hero role.”

The film tells the story of a local college student who gets caught between the politics of two gangsters. The story develops into how he overcame both and got his life back on track.

“They wanted me to prepare for the shoot in 10 days,” he said. “It was so surprising to me to get my first chance to act in a movie. I couldn’t believe it. It was like a dream come true.”

Mithunn originally hails from India but followed his life partner to the United States. He is now looking for next big movie opportunity.

“As an actor, whatever role comes to me, I will evolve into the character and always do my best,” he said. “I live for what I do. I am never tired of work and exploring new things or new businesses. I never miss an opportunity that comes my way.”
